Power: A feeling that

Power:

A feeling that can’t be described

Or seen differently through someone else’s eyes

A feeling that others despise

Power

Or in times like these

When others strive to please

Or others strive to be pleased

Some call it- Power

When one can’t contemplate

The issues that await

Those who find their fate call it

Power

Some call it Religion

Some call it Race

Some decide to call it

What gender you hate

“Men are trash,” they say

You belong in the kitchen

Some decide to call it

Whether you’re a Miss or a Missus

Some call it your education

What you want to do for this generation

Who knew others called it

Your score on your evaluation

Some call it your number

Whether it’s your weight, height, or size

A 36 on your ACT

Or the number of times you cried

No matter what they call it

No matter what they say

Power is what you and only you

Want it to Portray
